Finding local farm produce in the Columbia Basin gets easier during farmers market season. In Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, Prosser and Walla Walla find farmers markets providing an excellent opportunity to incorporate more farm-to-table products into your life this summer. In addition to fruits and vegetables from nearby farms, local vendors and artisans often attend markets. Food trucks and booths, activities, and performances are also exciting aspects of many markets. Although every market is a little different, they provide a similar experience. So, plan on getting your hands on fresh produce, exploring local businesses, and enjoying the summer sun as these markets open in the upcoming months.

Market at the Parkway

In Richland, Market at the Parkway is held every Friday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This fun market is found between George Washington Way and Jadwin Ave., on the Parkway between the shops lining the street. Market at the Parkway begins in June and runs through October.

3 Eyed Fish Farmer’s Market

Another Richland market is the 3 Eyed Fish Farmers Market. This market takes place every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s located in the grassy strip in front of the 3 Eyed Fish Wine Bar in the Queensgate Village off Keene Rd. The 3 Eyed Fish Farmer’s Market begins on June 13 and runs through September. Check out their Facebook page for updates.

Historic Downtown Kennewick Farmers Market

The Historic Downtown Kennewick Farmers Market is held on Thursday nights between 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. This is the only evening market open in Benton and Franklin Counties, providing a shopping opportunity for anyone busy during days and weekends. This market runs from June 3 to October 21 and is located in downtown Kennewick at the corner of Benton Street and W Kennewick Ave. The Historic Downtown Kennewick Farmers Market offers an EBT incentive program. Pasco Farmers Market

The Pasco Farmers Market is an open-air market beneath a covered pavilion, ensuring a great shopping experience regardless of the weather. Attend every Saturday between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The market is held in Downtown Pasco at the intersection of 4th Ave. and Columbia St. The Pasco Farmers Market often includes live music and performances, with other events throughout the season. Prosser’s Farmers Market

Prosser’s Farmers Market can be attended every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Prosser City Park hosts this market at 7th St. and Sommers Ave. Their grand opening is May 29, and they will be giving away seeds all day to visitors. Walla Walla hosts The Downtown Farmers Market every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The entrance to the market is on Main Street. This market opened on May 1 and runs through the end of October. Their Facebook page will have up-to-date information regarding the market.

College Place Farmers and Artisans Market

The College Place Farmers and Artisans Market is an evening market in Walla Walla County. Every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., find this convenient market at Lions Park at 801 SE Larch Street. Beginning May 27, the market will run through the end of September. This market accepts SNAP/EBT. Every market day includes live music, and other activities are planned as well. Their Facebook page will have current information for the season.
